Program Overview

The PIMS Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) Safety course provides essential awareness for personnel who may encounter hydrogen sulphide in oil and gas, petrochemical, geothermal, wastewater and other industrial environments. Because H2S can present severe and rapidly developing health hazards, workers must be able to recognise exposure risks and respond correctly to alarms and emergencies.

The programme covers H2S properties, health effects, atmospheric monitoring, respiratory protection, escape equipment and emergency-response procedures for potentially hazardous H2S environments.
