The PIMS Directional Driling course develops advanced technical knowledge for planning and executing directional, deviated and horizontal well trajectories. The programme focuses on well planning, survey calculations, drilling tools, MWD/LWD systems, hydraulics and downhole directional control.
Learners also explore extended-reach drilling, wellbore stability, torque and drag, stuck-pipe prevention, troubleshooting and risk management for complex directional-drilling operations.
