The PIMS Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course develops advanced knowledge and practical competence for the rapid assessment and management of severe trauma.
The programme focuses on structured trauma assessment, airway and breathing support, haemorrhage control, shock, neurological evaluation, injuries affecting major body systems and effective trauma-team coordination.

- Format: Multiple-choice questions, OSCE-style stations and team-based trauma scenarios.
- Total Questions: 60 theory questions plus 4 practical stations and 1 capstone scenario.
- Passing Score: 70%.
- Duration: 2 days (16–20 hours total).
